It's already been two weeks since I saw Mollie. She had to come to Brazil for work and we were so blessed to get to see her for a short time. On Saturday evening, she had a small party at Christian's house so we had some time together in a group. Sunday morning, we laced up our shoes and went for a long walk together, catching up on the last four months of life since she left Horizontina for the U.S. It felt incredibly normal to spend time with her, almost as if she had just been on a long vacation! Unfortunately, she really did leave and no longer has a residence here in Brazil. However, it was just so great to be with her and catch up on each other's lives. Christian, a German, is a somewhat new ex-pat living here. He arrived a few weeks before Mollie left. Over the last several months, they have been communicating and have formed a very sweet relationship. I'm so excited for them and looking forward to seeing what God has in store for them. Their story is a fun one and I'm so happy I've been able to be a small part of it!
