Shady Knoll Farm. . .

Last weekend we drove over to the Shady Knoll farm for our first pumpkin patch experience with kids. We didn't go when Emma was a baby. When she was almost 18 months old, for whatever reason, we didn't make it. Kevin's parents were visiting that fall and his mom said, "That's OK. There's always next year." That's when we dropped the bomb and let them know we were considering moving to Brazil. I think my response was something like, "Ya, I'm not sure they have pumpkin patches in Brazil." Although they had pumpkins in Brazil, we never did find a pumpkin patch to visit. Emma had a great time picking out her pumpkin. I loved the fall colors and seeing families choose their pumpkins We were shocked at the prices, but the experience was great.
Feeding the goats was awesome for her. . .
Adri wasn't too thrilled with the pumpkins!!
"Bunnyville" was another favorite at the farm.
These are some of my favorite colors ever! Iowa is awesome in the fall. We were actually in Illinois while at the farm, but this area in general is just beautiful right now!!
