Moving In. . .

Apparently, these are the only pictures I took of the moving-in weekend! We were unpacking boxes as fast as we could. I wanted the movers to take away as much cardboard as possible so I didn't have to store it in our garage. This was the kitchen, after most of the boxes were unpacked. I almost cried at one point; it was overwhelming to look at all the junk we had. Finally, I started a box of items I just didn't want in my kitchen. I filled it up and put it in the basement. Maybe some day I'll go through it and discard it all. For now, I'm just glad it's out of the way. After a few hours of working with Marcy, we found a place for everything and even had some space left over! It took me about a week to get all the boxes unpacked. It took another few weeks to get everything to the right rooms. Almost two months later, I'm still working on different rooms. I figure I'll have some cold winter days in the near future when I can organize a little more!!
