Last summer I mowed a trail down to Sugar Creek. It took me almost 2 weeks to make the actual trail, but we used it so much. Last week I took Emma down to the creek and we threw rocks in the water and watched the deer and birds. She had fun and it was good for me to spend some quiet time reminiscing about our time in Ottumwa. I love how bright Emma's clothes are against the dull background. My plants were all starting to bloom the day we left. Kind of sad, but also a reminder that new things are about to happen!! Kind of exciting.
