We all said goodbye to Bob and Maggie on Thursday. They were the best neighbors and we always had such fun conversations with them. We've decided that if we have to move back to Ottumwa, we'll try to buy our house back so we can be neighbors with them again! Emma will miss them, too. Maggie played many games with Emma. Just before we left, Emma would look outside and say, "Bob's truck. Maggie's house. Where'd Sheba go?" Sheba was their cat and Emma loved to play with it. Unfortunately, the day we left, we learned that Sheba is actually Heba. Yep, somehow someone missed that one. I decided not to try to explain that one to Emma. As far as she knows, it's still Sheba:)
We took Emma swimming the night before we left. Her friends Mallory, Lilly and Quenton came to swim with her and she had a blast! She was in the water off and on for 3 hours! She slept like a rock that night!
Congratulations to our friends, Jay and Gerrii, who welcomed their little girl, Sophia Rose on Saturday, April 4! Emma loved holding Sophia and tried so hard to say her name. She kept saying "Fia" or "Soy", but eventually, she said, "Baby Sophia". Sophia joins her sisters, Claire and Ella, who are also some of Emma's friends!
