Pretty flowers. . .

I was a little saddened to leave my pretty flowers:( I spent so much time outside last spring and summer! I remember moving into the house and my neighbor Maggie showed me a blue crocus and told me it was the first flower of spring. I told her we have tumbleweeds in Kansas and I didn't even know what a hosta was when I moved to Iowa, let alone a crocus (which, by the way, reminds me of a locust when I hear it). Anyway, my hostas were poking their pointy little heads up about 3 inches out of the ground and I was kind of sick, knowing they would be in full bloom in just a few weeks! The yellow tulips were also starting to come up and the back yard should be full of them by now! I miss the excitement of seeing something new every day! It was a fun spring and summer, watching all the flowers and plants bloom!
