THE OURO VERDE HOTEL
HORIZONTINA
Our Master Bedroom, complete with a walkout balcony.
self-explainable
I had some questions regarding our current living situation, so I thought I'd show everyone. Here it is!! We have a 2-bedroom hotel room and it's working out nicely! Emma has her own little crib in one room and our bed is in another. We'll be here for at least a few more weeks as we prepare our home. Normally, when people leave a home, they take everything but the kitchen sink with them. . . literally, the only thing left in our home is the kitchen sink! The homes are not built with closets, so we need to purchase giant wardrobes in which to put our clothing and other storage items. We also need to purchase kitchen cupboards and appliances as well as light fixtures for the entire house. Because Kevin's working, our language is limited and we only have one car, it might take longer than we expect to accomplish furnishing our home with the necessities. It might be good timing though, because our sea shipment should arrive around the end of May or first of June, just in time to put everything in our home, hopefully! The hotel has been nice. We are on the second floor (no elevator). The lobby is on the first floor and the dining room is down another flight of stairs. We walk back to our room and Emma, with great excitement, says, "We're home Mommy!!" and runs to Room 101. Yes, Emma, we're home. . . for now. I look forward to moving into our new home, but this is great for now.

cupboards and light fixtures?! crazy!
We had to do the same thing! I had forgetten about that! If it works out maybe you could get some from people from John Deere who may be leaving soon for the states??! It is fun to pick out things that are not a permanant fixture in your home so go a little "crazy" ~ have fun with it!
