Beautiful waterfall near Canela!
We took an elevator to the top of the tower to get a better view of the waterfall and we both agree that the view was well worth the few reais we spent!
I'm sure Emma's favorite moment of the entire vacation was when we let her throw rocks in the water! She loves rocks and loves water and just giggles when the rocks splash!
Just outside Canela is Caracol Park, whose main focus is the magnificent waterfall above. We hiked around the park for over an hour and had a great time!! The weather was beautiful, around 80 degrees, and we enjoyed being out in nature!! It felt really good to get some exercise too! Since we were in the mountains, the air felt different. It was so crisp and clear; I kept taking really deep breaths and it just felt clean. Mmmm. . . fresh mountain air!
