Our sea shipment officially arrived at our new home on Friday, July 10th. Six men worked very hard and unloaded everything in a matter of hours. We are so excited to be in our new home! Soon, I'll post pictures of the new place.

Kevin had to record each box and piece of furniture that was delivered. We had a few broken items, but nothing too important. I'm amazed that all the things in my house in Ottumwa were packed, sailed on a ship, and then were unloaded in my new home. I just think it's amazing!!
Here are a few pictures from our moving day. The men were quick and very efficient! They began shortly before 9am and were gone just after 1pm! We were so impressed with all that was accomplished! Kevin was happiest to see his coffee maker and beans and Emma played on her slide for hours! I just enjoyed unpacking boxes and organizing our things. Stan and Barbara, Alina and Mollie all helped us and we were amazed at all we accomplished in just a few days! In just 3 days, we had unpacked every box, organized most rooms, and began hanging pictures on the walls! We were finally home!

this makes me so happy for you! i imagine this will help in a lot of ways. it might be hard in a lot of ways, too, but it's good to have a home base that is truly your space.
Hooray for you guys. I'm so excited that you are HOME!!!! Kevin, enjoy your coffee. Emma, enjoy your toys and especially your slide. Sandi, enjoy your kitchen, cooking, and all of your belongings. God is good isn't he?
