This morning, I gave Emma her clothes and told her to get dressed. She started laughing and I turned to see her E.T.-looking head. We were both laughing and she said, "Mommy, take a picture!" Could it be that she's at the stage where she wants me to take her picture?? Oooh, I hope so!
So serious. My precious little E.J.
Finally. . . success! She was awfully proud! Long-sleeved shirts are way more of a challenge than tank-tops and t-shirts! The weather is cooler here now, so we pulled out the winter clothes. I'm so glad I stocked up on them when we were home in December. It was really nice to just unpack a tote, as opposed to running to the store to buy things.
My Little Pony Family. . .
Except for the little purple one (from Grandma), all the ponies are hand-me-downs or garage sale goodies. Oh garage sales. . . how I will miss them this year! I guess no money spent is better than a "good deal"!!
Emma loves her ponies.
Every day we spend some time outside. When the grass starts getting too long, these beautiful pink "flowers" sprout and Emma loves to pick them. "Hey Mommy, I picked you a very pretty flower." She makes me smile.
One day, as I thought she was smelling the flower, she said, "Mommy, this flower won't fit up my nose, will it?" I told her no and I really hope she never tries to test me!
As I was sitting yesterday, she began collecting flowers to decorate my chair. She just has the sweetest, most tender little heart.
