Multitasking. . .

I'm a walking advertisement for the Moby Wrap!! The Brazilians are so curious about it. As with the frontpack carrier, they wonder if I can drive while wearing Adri. I just smile and say no. I always want to add something like, "I try not to do stupid things like that!" I wear the Moby every day to walk Emma to school and again to pick her up. It's only three blocks to Emma's school, so we walk. It's not worth putting Adri in the carseat because we almost never drive and we don't have a stroller. Even if we did have a stroller, we live on the third floor of the apartment, so I wouldn't want to haul it up and down. The Moby is a perfect solution. Adri absolutely loves it!! Her schedule works out that I nurse her and she plays for a while. When it's time for her to go to sleep, I put her in it and we walk to school. She always falls asleep and then I put her in her crib when we get back home.

Instead of putting her in her crib the other evening, I decided to keep her with me. She slept the entire time, only waking when I pulled her out. She slept through the chopping of carrots and apples and even through the sound of the juicer!! Kevin came home as I was finishing up and told me I'm crazy. I'm a baby-wearing, carrot-juicing mama. I kind of sound like a granola-lady, but I'm not. I don't hug trees and we still use disposable diapers. Gotta have a balance, right??
