We arrived in Moline on the 20th of June and were here for a week. Aside from a few house pictures, this was the only photo I took the entire time. It's precious, the way Adri is looking at her grandpa. Emma was beyond excited to spend time with two of her favorite people! I was beyond grateful for Kevin's parents to be with us during our hectic week of house hunting and car shopping. They took Emma to the zoo, the Children's Museum, and a park. They stayed in the hotel in the afternoons while Adri took her naps. It was a crazy, crazy week, but it's over. We found a house in Bettendorf and we bought a van - yes, a minivan (which had been traded the day we found it; it hadn't even been cleaned yet). We were in our own little bubble during that week and then Kevin flew back to Brazil and I drove with Kevin's mom to Kansas. His dad had returned a day earlier. That week was a blur. I think we looked at over 25 houses in three days. I was exhausted!! Now we're back in Bettendorf in temporary housing. Who knows what temporary means? We're happy to be here though!!
