These photos bring up emotion in me. I can't even begin to write how thankful I am for my mother-in-law. There's always a little part of me that wonders what Emma's relationship with my own mother would have looked like, had they been able to meet. Rather than being sad, though, I get to be thankful and really, really happy that Emma has an incredible grandma who loves her very much. She teaches Emma so many new things and just loves on her really well. If we could live across the street from each other, I don't think it would be too close for Emma!
