We don't own the hill next to our home, but our neighbor gave us permission to use it when the snow came! We were pretty excited to be able to walk out our back door for a quick sledding run. It was only 18 degrees that Sunday morning, so we didn't stay out long. Kevin and Emma made quite a few runs, but I only did one. Adri and I stayed inside watching them go up and down the hill. We have a creek that runs by the north side of our property. Someday, if the snow gets deep enough, we might have to be careful of the dropoff into the creek! For now, though, we were at least 10 yards from it!
Fun, fun morning. I'm not a huge fan of the cold weather, but I love the snow!! I do hope we get some more before spring comes! It's been really neat to watch Emma experience new things this winter. She's been eating snow whenever she gets a chance. She's very concerned now about what yellow snow might look like. I told her she could eat the snow as long as it wasn't yellow:)
