We've had a little bit of snow here lately. I've lost track of the inches. It's beautiful. Just a pretty white blanket of snow over the world.
One afternoon, after several inches of snow, I felt the urge to help Kevin out a little bit. The drive was full of snow and I really wanted to clear it. I wasn't ambitious enough to use the shovel, though. It had been at least 15 years since I'd driven my dad's old riding lawn mower, but I had done it so much I figured it couldn't be that difficult to remember. After finally getting it started (yes, that was the most challenging part), I plowed away all the snow. I was so proud of myself that I sent the picture to Kevin, ruining the surprise. Since that initial self-training, I've cleared the drive one other time. Emma was my sidekick and Adri slept peacefully during it all.
Our backyard makes us feel like we're out in the country and not in the middle of town. We've spent a few hours sledding and stomping around in the snow back there.
Today it's raining and much of the snow has melted already. I wonder if these will be the last snow pictures I get this year?? It is March, so I'm thinking warmer temperatures are on their way. . . at least I secretly hope so!!

Way to plow that drive Sandi! I'm not sure I could get our mower started if I tried....way to go!
