Emma got a few fun gifts from us and from her grandparents. We're excited for her to learn more about the United States because it'll be her new home sometime later this year, although we're still not sure when that will be. Right now, Emma loves purses, her scooter, nail polish and lipgloss, skirts and dresses, drawing and creating crafts, and of course, reading books. Pink is her favorite color and not a day goes by without her wearing something that has a touch of pink in it!! We had a very quiet Christmas day together. We read about the birth of Jesus and had a nice day of hanging out together as a family. We all had a strong longing to be in a different country, with our family, but it was fun to see Kevin's side on Skype. We're so thankful for the communication that's available through the internet. So many things and people to be thankful for in our lives!!
