We were kind of thinking we'd have more animals in our back yard because of the creek and woods, but sadly, only the squirrels seem to frequent our area. Twice we've seen deer and one day during lunch, a fox was poking around the firepit. I wish I would have been quicker with the camera. He's not really in focus, but you can see the bushy tail hanging down as he was climbing up the embankment. He was huge and beautiful! Hopefully we'll see more deer in the coming months. Emma sat mesmerized as they stood there eating.
