Emma had another great week at Vacation Bible School at Harvest Bible Chapel. She LOVED it!! Two months later, she's still singing the songs! VBS was always a highlight of my summer as a kid, so I'm always going to make it a point to get her involved somewhere. Harvest did an awesome job with the kids and the lessons!
It was really packed the final night. All the kids got to go up front for the songs. I loved watching Emma sing and dance and follow along.
On the final night, families were invited to join the kids and then celebrate afterward with snowcones and bounce houses. Unfortunately, it started to rain so the evening was cut short. We had fun, though, and Emma was exhausted by Friday. It just happened that swim lessons were at 5 and then VBS was a 6 for the week. We really didn't have a busy summer as far as our day-to-day schedule, but that week was a little crazy in the evenings!! Although it was good and fun, we were all happy that it was over!
