Kevin's brother Steve and his family live about 2 hours from Cincinnati, so we decided to go visit them last Saturday. We arrived to an amazing home cooked meal (thanks Maggie!!), and had a great time playing with the boys and seeing their awesome home! It was really nice to get out of the city (and the hotel) and after Emma's nap, we went for a hike. Emma had a great time in the backpack carrier and it felt so good to get some exercise.
After our hike, we went out for pizza and let the kids play. Emma's still talking about playing with the boys. She had a lot of fun running around at their house! At one point, I walked outside to see her and Benjamin throwing rocks in a mud puddle. They were having such a good time. It's always fun for me to see Emma enjoying the outdoors. It's good for her and all of us to get fresh air and play in the sun!

Thanks for the updates Sandi! We just got your letter and pictures in the mail, and I asked Mallory, "Who is that?" and she quickly said "Emma!" Then she repeated Emma for the next half an hour! Oh, she remembers!! We miss you lots. Hope you have safe travels and can't wait to talk to you!!! Love, Julie
