I'm not sure if I've ever mentioned this, but we don't drink the water here. We're not supposed to drink it, so we buy bottled water to have in our home. This is a very normal sight in our home now and replacing the bombona de aqua every week is just part of life. We use the water for drinking, cooking, and making coffee. However, we do brush our teeth with the tap water. I think we're just too lazy to go get a cup of water and take it to our bathroom! (Just in case we end up having weird problems, I guess you'll know why!!)

just wait til you go back to the states to visit and find such delight in actually being able to use the tap water for everything! gotta love the glugglug.
