Who thought of this one? It's a ceramic duck head attached to a stuffed body (much like a Cabbage Patch doll body), with ceramic webbed feet and hands made out of something that resembles cardstock. The hands and feet are both attached to the body with plastic ties (the same ones the airport security uses to seal the two zippers on a suitcase together). The animal had been dropped at some point and its head was broken into a few pieces. My dad proudly showed me where he had super-glued the eyes and beak in just the right places so that it looked normal again. Normal?? I would have gladly thrown the duck in the trash, but Dad was so happy about it, especially when he found Emma holding it like a baby! Oh, what will we find next time??
