The Birthday Boy. . .
At 80 years old, he's still got his sense of humor!
We had his birthday party on the 9th of April. Sunday morning, the 10th (his actual birthday), I asked Dad where he wanted to go for lunch. He raised his eyebrows and grinned and said that Burger King has some great sandwiches! (Gag, I thought.) However, since it was his birthday, I didn't say anything. Several of my sisters were still around, so after church, we all met up at the BK. Never afraid of drawing attention to himself, Dad walked in with this hideous wig on his head! His daughters laughed and rolled their eyes. Yep, that's our dad.
