We had fun celebrating Christmas at home before we traveled to Kansas to spend time with Kevin's family. Adri cared more about the wrapping paper than she did anything else. Emma's eyes were popping out, she was so excited! The last few years just felt different. It was always hot and we were all sweating in our tank tops and shorts. Somehow, being in a warm, cozy house while the ground is covered in snow makes Christmas feel more like Christmas. Being able to drive to see family was just awesome. In short, December was really fun. Emma spent hours decorating and we read the Christmas story in about twenty different books. It really was great to be home for the holidays!
