Congratulations Marcy!!! After 29 years of teaching, she officially retired this week! Emma and I decided that retirement is just a fancy word for "Grandma can come and see us whenever she wants now!" We're so proud of her and know that she has invested so much into the lives of countless children over the years! We know she will be missed!
When Emma and I were at Party City last week, we found these awesome Retirement glasses! When I pointed them out to her, she said we just had to get them for Grandma! I'm sure there will be many more crazy things to do during retirement!!
Adri shocked us all by latching on to her Uncle Tim last night. She just seemed so comfortable and content with him and it was sweet to watch her just be OK. I remember Emma doing the same thing when Tim and Bethany came to Brazil a few years ago. She was about three years old at the time, but it was the same. . . she was just happy to be with him. I guess there's just something about Uncle Tim that the girls love! How sweet is that?
