More Thanksgiving 2013. . .

Dustin, Olivia and Lori Adams. This was one of my favorite pictures of our trip! I love this family and the barn is just amazing!
Several of the nieces enjoyed spending some girl time together during the day. I love that Emma has so many cousins to play with; I just sometimes wish we lived closer to some of them!!
Another one of my favorites. . .
Elise's family up in the barn. . .
9 of the 10 girls. Chris didn't make it so the picture doesn't feel complete. Here we are:
Linda, Lori, Sharon, Sandi
Janette, Marilyn, Jane, Elise, Lianne
The girls with Dad. . .
14 of the 15 with Dad. Some days I forget that I am part of such a huge family. It doesn't come up in daily conversation like it used to. It's crazy, though. Those are my brothers and sisters and there are a ton of them! Love them!
Getting goofy. . .
Eric, Annie, Sheila and my brother, Fred. Eric and Annie are Fred and Sheila's two youngest. Their older two kids didn't make it this year.
Our family with another baby. Her name is Baby. Sadly, we left Baby in Kansas and haven't seen her since that trip!
Nine of the older nieces:
Alison, Sage, Brooklyn, Annie, Cassidy
Courtney, Sidney, Taylor and Ashley
Alison, Brooklyn, Sister Lori, Annie, and Cassidy. These four nieces were all born in 1997 and they were all flower girls in my sister Lori's wedding in 2000.
It's long been said that Taylor, Sharon's daughter, looks just like Lori did when she was in high school. They really do resemble each other! Then again, most of the girls in my family look like each other!!
Elise and Emma Jae just relaxing at the end of the evening.
Brother Daniel with his three kids, Cassidy, Jessi and Caleb.
We didn't stay too late that night because we were all planning to run in the annual Duell Family Turkey Trot the next morning. We spent some time as a family just sharing what we're grateful for and then we sang for a while before everyone left for the evening. I really enjoyed just observing my family this year. I tried to soak in the goodness of it all. The older I get, the more I'm aware that I've had a fairly easy life as far as losing loved ones goes. I know the days will come when I'll have to say goodbye, but for Thanksgiving Day, 2013, I was able to enjoy everyone in my family for another day!!
