"I was playing with mahkers."
"Oh, really. Did you suck on the markers?"
"Yes, I did." (At least she was honest.)
"Did they taste yummy?"
"No."
"Don't put the markers in your mouth, OK sweetie?"
"OK Mommy."
"Do you want to see what happened?"
"Oh Mommy, that's not very dood."
"No, honey, it's not good. Don't do it again."
"Mommy, my mouth loots dross. Please tlean it." (I decided to brush her hair while I was at it, too!)
I've never told her not to put the markers in her mouth, so she didn't really get in trouble. Plus, it made for a cute blog post:) Good thing Crayola makes washable markers!
